About The Christ Governing Church

A people raised and sent by God for the perfecting of the saints, the edifying of the Body, and the maturing of believers into the fullness of Christ.

PREAMBLE

A Constitution of Faith.

We, the members of The Christ Governing Church, a not-for-profit and non-political organization, do firmly and solemnly resolve to provide for ourselves a constitution and to be governed by the provisions therein contained.

The name of the Association is The Christ Governing Church, with our address at No. 4, Divine Grace, Bibire Blocks, Ajobo, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

To Raise

Through the systematic teaching of God’s Word, prayer, and the ministry of the Spirit, believers live the simple life of faith daily, unconsciously, in the higher realm where they see in the Name of Jesus the fullness of the authority and power that was in Christ when He walked on Earth.

To Build

Men and women, boys and girls in all nations of the Earth are saved, trained, and taught to take their permanent place in all the rights and privileges of their positions as mature sons of God, heirs of the Father, and joint heirs with Christ, reigning in life.

Anchored in Truth

No longer tossed by every wind of doctrine, the sleight of men, or cunning craftiness.

Speaking Truth in Love

Growing up into Him in all things, Christ being the Head of the Body.

Building Itself in Love

Every joint supplying the whole body, increasing unto the edifying of itself in love.

Aims & Objectives

To promote spiritual growth, moral development, and the practice of faith-based values in the lives of individuals and communities.
To serve as a centre of worship, fellowship, and teaching grounded in the principles of Christianity.
To provide charitable support, outreach programs, and community development initiatives in line with our faith.
To organize regular services, prayer meetings, and faith-building activities for members and the wider public.
To offer educational and spiritual resources including workshops, seminars, and counseling sessions.
To support vulnerable groups — widows, orphans, the poor — through outreach, donations, and empowerment.
To partner with like-minded organizations to advance humanitarian and faith-based causes.
To establish youth and children's programs to guide the next generation in faith and responsible living.
